Everyone is talking about eating pie for breakfast like it is a bad thing. In my house I consider pie to be a healthy breakfast. A can of pumpkin, a can of milk, and eggs, and only 3/4 cup of sugar to me is healthy. The same can be said for custard pie; eggs and milk. Isn't that breakfast?
Stop making it sound like pie is something bad. Pie is good!

And if you just make a pumpkin custard (which is just the pie without the crust) is is practically a health food!
