Unofficial Guide to Homeschooling

From the Unofficial Guide to Homeschooling:

"Experienced homeschoolers say that your job will be easier if you posses certain attributes, such as the following:
  • An eagerness to learn that includes a sense of wonder and an excitement for discovery
  • A love of books on a wide variety of subjects
  • Flexibility
  • Focus and Determination
  • Confidence
  • An enthusiasm for spending lots of time with your children
Wow! Does that sound like someone you know?

As a homeschooling mom of 10 years, I say - do what you have to in order to get through each day, and when Spring time burn out comes around just hang on for a few more months. It will all seem better in the Fall. Kind of like going through labor and delivery. Once the baby comes out, the pain subsides and you'll be ready to do it again in a year or two.
