I got the baby asleep in her crib for her nap; no small feat. So when Josh called needing a ride home because he was sick I was able just leave and go get him.
It seemed like a good time to stop for a ham. We spent a few minutes discussing ground turkey and 50 pound sacks of potatoes in anticipation of our upcoming bulk cooking day with the storekeeper.
I hadn't been gone too long yet, so I though I would stop and buy flowers for some friends. Joshua was in the car adding minutes to my phone. As I was paying I noticed Joshua behind me. "Is the car still running?" I asked. "I don't know." he answered.
He went out to shut it off. Only he couldn't get into the car because he has accidentally locked the doors on his way out. Crap.
Now I have been gone just long enough that I am worried about Molly needing me. Crap.
Thankfully I remembered seeing the Burn Man's truck at home this morning. He was able to go to my house first and bring me an extra set of keys.
After thanking him I handed him a bouquet. In addition to saving my butt, he saved me a trip to drop them off.
