Some friends of ours were heading out to celebrate someone's 50th birthday.

Joshua: Fifty, huh? People always celebrate 50 as the big birthday, but really they should celebrate 40.

Gary: Why?

Joshua: Well, forty is like the halfway point. You are halfway there at 40.

Gary: Halfway where?

Joshua: You know, death. Oh. You're 40. I guess I shouldn't have said that out loud. I forgot how old you are.
